Rich Chocolates & Candies was created by chocolatier Lauren Pett as a way to express herself in her favorite medium of all: chocolate.

 

With a lifetime of art training (and several years of office jobs) behind her, Lauren embarked on a new journey with one mission: to make people smile.  She studied at Chicago’s Kendall College and the French Pastry School, honed her skills at Vanille Patisserie and the Bleeding Heart Bakery, and took every chance she had to learn more about the craft of candy making. She is a frequent childhood-revisitor and pop culture enthusiast, all of which is evident in her whimsical and creative concoctions.

While the name “Rich” reflects the decadence and luxury in every bite of her delicious creations, it is also named in memory of her father, who taught her (among many things) to never stop learning and to always leave room for dessert.
